Located on our family farm in Desford, Leicestershire, The Milk Shed is home to both our fresh milk vending machine and our on-farm shop. Here, you can refill your bottle with fresh farm milk and browse a carefully selected range of local produce from trusted Midlands farmers and makers, from artisan sourdough and free-range eggs to Friday night treats and everyday essentials.

Everyday Essentials & Treats
Stock up on your daily favourites, including Brockleby’s Pies, Dreamy Cow Ice Cream, Joseph Heler Cheeses, Sherwood Farm Free Range Eggs, and Mrs Darlington’s Preserves, alongside fresh yoghurts, butter, and local crisps.

The Milk Shed
The Milkshake Bar
Inside The Milk Shed, you can refill your bottle with fresh farm milk or create a flavoured milkshake directly at the vending machine.
Choose from 500ml, 1 litre or 2 litre servings, and select from flavours such as, vanilla, strawberry or chocolate, all made using our fresh, non-homogenised milk. Bring a clean bottle with you or purchase one of our reusable glass bottles on site to refill again and again.
Payments
Our vending machines accept contactless and exact coin payments only (no change available on site).
Simply make your selection at the machine, follow the on-screen instructions and dispense your milk or flavoured milkshake.
Mobile Milkshake Bar
Moovin’ ‘N’ Shakin’ is our mobile milkshake bar, available for weddings, private parties and corporate events across Leicestershire and the Midlands. If you’re looking for something memorable for your wedding reception or event catering, our milkshake service brings fresh farm indulgence straight to your guests.
Made using our own fresh, non-homogenised milk from our family farm in Desford, our creamy milkshakes add a little nostalgia, a little indulgence and a whole lot of smiles to your special day. It’s the same premium quality you’ll find at The Milk Shed, simply served from anywhere.
